Wotan-Anubis has certainly come a long way from Getting Even. It is clear he is trying harder. And while he still has a long way to go, I am hopeful.

Time is quite different than standard IF. For one, the sex scenes are not drawn out. What I really liked about this game is that the sex is there to serve the plot, not vice versa. Granted, nobody is going to mistake the author for David Mamet. But this chrono-trigging adventure had me intrigued from the get-go.

Ultimately, I was not satisfied with the end product. Either I didnít quite ďgetĒ the surrealistic meaning of it all, or there was nothing to get. The author seems to be making a statement at the end of the game about his views regarding a sexual taboo, as the characters arenít deep enough in their own right to convincingly portray themselves in a morality play. Perhaps it was just the soap opera dialogue that threw me off.

Most disappointing was my inability to build a fire with the prehistoric humans, as the supplies to do so were seemingly at my disposal. Of course, what does that say about me? Iím playing porn and I want to rub two sticks together.

Out of nine participants, Time placed 5th on my ballot, middle of the pack.
