Planescape is the first game to come from the secret agent/bestiality genre of AIF. My feelings are mixed.

I was not turned off so much by the fact that the NPC was half man, half beast. Rather, what did me in was that the character was a crude, disgusting, male. Frankly, I have no desire to become intimate with such a character, even if I play a female as hot as the PC.

Sidenote: The PC, same name as the author, I found to be the hottest of all female characters in the competition. I am not quite sure why, although I think it may have something to do with her confidence.

The games puzzles were completely uninspiring, and also took long enough to solve to become slightly annoying. The puzzle that took me the longest involved finding what object to search under/in/behind another object.

So I didn’t like sex, the story, or the puzzles. But damn, I wouldn’t mind being that bariaur.

Planescape – Encounters 1 placed 6th out of nine games on my ballot.
